The IMEN Concept:
1. What is the aim of IMEN?
1.1 The development of music pedagogical projects in non European countries, which are interested to integrate the European musical educational system in his own educational system
1.2 Mentoring and financial support for the development of educational infrastructure
1.3 Support of exchangeable projects between partner music schools
1.4 Organization of different activities like advanced training for the teaching staff to support the development of the collective knowledge.
1.5 Organization and development of student’s exchangeable programs
1.6 Organization and development of teacher’s exchangeable programs
1.7 Support of science and research projects in the area of international music pedagogy
1.8 Introduction of musical pedagogical institutes and their working results to the publicity in Austria and Europe.
IMEN should be seen as a non profit organisation.
2. What we want to reach?
2.1 New high professional and long-term results in the music padagogy
2.2 Development of new standards and conceptions
2.3 To create a new network between music schools, universities, conservatories and other music pedagogical institutes in and outside of Europe
2.4 To give an international platform for successful projects between music institutes
2.5 To give a chance for students from Austria and other countries to learn, how different could be the way of making and understanding music through the contact with the different cultures
2.6 To create an educational network, who prepare teachers and docents for different educational programs
2.7 The involvement of other international culture and educational organisations
2.8 To serve for more acceptances, understanding and responcability in the music education worldwide
