The Johann Sebastian Bach Music Academy is seeking cooperation with The Education University of Hong Kong (formerly Hong Kong Institute of Education).
JSBM Hong Kong was invited as a guest at the Hong Kong Institute of Education, where we shared our teaching experiences with students from the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts. Our policy is to enhance teachers' instrumental education, as most students aspire to become instrumental teachers after graduation. It is in the interest of both our school and the students of the Hong Kong Institute of Education to learn from each other in order to become better educators and pedagogues.
In July 2015, JSBM Hong Kong participated in the 10th Asia-Pacific Symposium for Music Education Research, presented by the Department of Cultural and Creative Arts of the Hong Kong Institute of Education, under the motto "Music Education for Future Generations." As a result, another joint project has been proposed for the near future.
